Onsite Collegiate Wind Competition
The U.S. Department of Energy Collegiate Wind Competition (CWC) is coming back to CLEANPOWER, demonstrating ACP’s investment in the industry’s future workforce. CWC helps college students prepare for clean energy through experience with real-world wind energy technology, project development, finance, communications, and outreach. ACP worked with CWC organizers to plan and facilitate events during the conference, providing a platform for CWC participants to showcase their work, connect with leaders in the clean energy industries, and prepare to join the workforce.
KidWind Project at CLEANPOWER
ACP will once again host a national KidWind Challenge at CLEANPOWER. KidWind focuses on teaching middle schoolers and high schoolers about the clean energy. KidWind organizes local and national challenges across the country for students to participate in design and construction competitions—one of which will be at CLEANPOWER this year.
